On September 24, 2005, Doris Ida Garrett (nee Birx) passed away at her home in Linthicum. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gene H. Garrett, Sr. and her two loving children, Gene H. Garrett, Jr. and Peggy Naughton. She is also survived by her four beloved grandchildren.
Doris worked in the office at the B&O Railroad as well as the telephone company. She was a member of the Linthicum Heights Women's Club and she enjoyed crafts very much.
