David William Lawler, 67, passed away on March 30, 2026. David was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Kimberly Lawler, and a proud father to his sons, Ryan Lawler and Travis McLawler. He was a cherished father-in-law to his daughters-in-law, Sarah Lawler and Abby McLawler, and a deeply adored grandfather to Karter, Kolson, Kora, and Kya—his pride and joy, who lovingly knew him as “Cool Pop.”
David was the kind of man who could light up any room he walked into. Known for his infectious laugh, outgoing personality, and ability to bring people together, he truly was the life of the party. Whether he was hosting gatherings at his home, relaxing by his pool, or spending time with family and friends, David made every moment memorable.
He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—gardening and taking pride in his yard, swimming in his pool, and enjoying days at the beach. He had a passion for sports and was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Orioles, and Boston Celtics. He also loved playing games, whether it was card games, foosball, or air hockey, and especially enjoyed bowling, where he met the love of his life, Kimberly.
David had a deep appreciation for vehicles and took great pride in his Corvette and Camaro. He also found immense joy in taking his grandchildren out to movies and arcades, creating memories they will carry with them forever.
He dedicated his career to the City of Baltimore Wastewater Treatment Plant, where he served as a Maintenance Manager, earning the respect of those he worked alongside.
David is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his sons, Ryan and Travis; his daughters-in-law, Sarah and Abby; his beloved grandchildren, Karter, Kolson, Kora, and Kya; his sister, Deborah Lloyd; and his father-in-law, Milton Snowden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Snyder and William Lawler.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, April 6th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a service to follow from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, Maryland, to honor and celebrate David’s life.
