Charles “Chuck” Baker, Jr., 66 of Glen Burnie, passed away on May 23, 2022 surrounded by his family. Chuck was born on April 23, 1956 in Munich, Germany to the late Charles R. Baker & Florence J. Baker (nee Schafer). He retired from CSX as a Communications Director. He is survived by his longtime life partner, Judy Smith; his loving children, Melissa Baker-Lanagan (Thomas), Justin Baker (Laurie); and Christopher Konopik; and his two sisters, Bonnie Groff and Bev Donaldson; his former wife, Connie Baker (Tom Gannon); his grandchildren, Cora Baker, Charlie Lanagan, Dylan Baker, Reid Baker; and his devoted dogs, Harbs and Huddle.
Chuck had a passion for sports and was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoyed going the Baltimore Ravens games. He enjoyed fine dining, traveling, singing karaoke, trains and working in his yard. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Chuck was a very special person who loved taking care of everyone else and he will be deeply missed.
