Charles Louis Rohrbaugh, Jr., 87, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on March 21, 2021.  Charles was born on April 12, 1933, in Baltimore, to the late Helen and Charles Rohrbaugh, Sr. He served his country proudly in the United States Army as a Corporal.  Charles went on to work at Merritt Properties, rising to the position of Director of Interior during his almost half a century of faithful service.  Work was very important to Charles. He considered his colleagues, his second family. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge, and the Rolling Road Country Club. Charles enjoyed golfing, gambling, skiing, traveling, cheering on the Ravens, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Charles was predeceased by his devoted wife of 61 years, Margaret I. Rohrbaugh, and his siblings, John Rohrbaugh and Anne Reigner.  He is survived by his loving daughters, Charlotte Thomas and Carole (Robert) Lorentson; his cherished grandchildren, Jesse, Amy (Nick), Meaghan, and Jonathan (Taylor); and his beloved great-grandchildren, Christian, Griffin, Ashley, Jackson, Lincoln, Kennedy, and Marlee; and his dear sister, Geraldine Hood.  Charles is also survived by many extended family and friends.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy), on Sunday, March 28th, from 1-3 & 5-7 PM with a Celebration of Life service held at 6 PM in the funeral home chapel.  A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Christ the King Catholic Church.  Interment at MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville will be Private as well.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to Monsignor Slade Catholic School, 550 Ritchie Highway, Suite M, Box 226, Severna Park, MD 21146 or to NCEON, 304 5th Avenue SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
