Catherine “Kay” M. Ebkens, 87 of South Baltimore passed away on June 13, 2022. Kay was born on November 29, 1934 in Baltimore to the late Leo and Marie Washenfeldt. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard E. Ebkens, her brother, Leo C. Washenfeldt, Jr. and her son-in-law, John Krull, Jr. She is survived by her children, Marie T. Krull, Catherine Anne Ebkens and Bernard E. Ebkens; her grandchildren, Danielle M. Campbell (Jason), Joshua Krull (Cortlyn) and Sean Krull (Maria); her great-grandchildren, Dean & Samuel Campbell, Charlotte, Maverick, Vivienne & Rockwell Krull, and Lucas Krull; her dear granddogs, Cooper, Cooley, Boh and her Royal Highness Gracee Lee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kay enjoyed reading, gardening, shopping and watching “Days of Our Lives”.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, June 19th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Holy Cross Church, 110 E. West St., Baltimore, MD 21230 on Monday, June 20th at 10 AM. Interment New Cathedral Cemetery to follow.
