Carolyn Majerowicz

Carolyn Dorothy Majerowicz (Kippy), 78, a 55 year resident of Pasadena, MD and formerly of Hamden, died on December 19, 2020 at Frederick Villa in Catonsville.

Carolyn was born on November 15, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, to the late Hubert D. and Alice Belvin.  She graduated in 1960, from the former Seton High School in downtown Baltimore.  She was married for 36 years to the late Frederick V. Majerowicz. For 31 years, she served at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (the old North Arundel Hospital).  Her professional work included assignments in the Emergency Room as a Nursing Technician followed by Licensed Pharmacy Technician work.  She graduated in 2015 from Anne Arundel Community College with her AA degree in Education.

Kippy was very active in the Roman Catholic Church here in Baltimore serving for over 15 years as both a Lector and EMHC at St. Jude’s Shrine.  She served as a member (with one term as President) of St. Jude’s "Union of Catholic Apostolate" in outreach ministry, volunteering for many years at Baltimore’s Ronald McDonald House and Hope Lodge.  In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed reading mystery novels, crocheting, quilting, sewing, cooking & baking, and watching Maryland Public Television.  She especially liked MPT’s “Midsomer Murders” mystery program and their many history programs.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carolyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Joe Morrison.  She is survived by her brothers, Tom Morrison & Hugh Belvin, Jr.; sisters-in-law Bitty Belvin, Marcella Morrison, Joyce Morrison, and Geraldine Majerowicz SSND; son Brian Majerowicz and daughter-in-law Kathy Majerowicz, daughter Lynda Majerowicz and son-in-law Joe DeSio, Jr.; 10 nephews: Walter, Stephen, William, and David Majerowicz, Eric & Jake Belvin; Kevin, Keith, Robert, & Bill Morrison; 5 nieces: Paula Majerowicz, Laura Belvin, Donna Martin, Deborah Frank, and Kara Mazzella; 4 grandchildren: Dan, Teresa, John, and Maria Majerowicz.

A brief viewing immediately preceding the Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday December 23, 2020, 11:00 AM, at Singleton’s Funeral Home in Glen Burnie, MD.  The Graveside Service will take place on Wednesday December 23, 2020, 1:00 PM, at Holy Rosary Cemetery.  The viewing will be live-streamed by Singleton Funeral Home (see link below). The Graveside Service will be live-streamed via Facebook on Brian’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com./brian.majerowicz)
