Betty Hood

On January 20, 2006, Betty Jean Hood passed on. Betty was a warm, loving woman who will be missed by many people. She enjoyed a long, happy marriage of 35 years with her husband, John, who had previously passed away. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Turner, Donna Coe, Pamela Masters, Teresa Lane, and Cathy Maynard; her brother, David Sigley; her twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by her sisters, Gladys Dawson and Mary Duvall, and her brothers, Ernest and Raymond Sigley. Betty was born in Fellowsville, West Virginia in 1938. She has been a resident of Odenton, MD for over 50 years. She was a school bus attendant for Robert Gaugs Bus Service for many years. Betty had many hobbies, which included cooking, helping others, and spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
