Betty Eline Obituary

Betty Mae Eline, 82, of Brooklyn, Maryland, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026. 

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, and raised in Arbutus, Betty was the beloved daughter of the late Donald and Edna Arnold. She devoted much of her life to caring for those around her, always putting the needs of her family first. Known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support, Betty was truly the heart of her family.

Betty found her greatest joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless pride and happiness to her life.

In her quieter moments, Betty enjoyed playing cards with her late sisters, sharing laughter and companionship that meant so much to them all. She was also fond of her beloved dog, Sophie, who brought her comfort and joy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years, John F. Eline; and her loving siblings, Donald Arnold Jr., Roland Arnold Sr., Kathleen “Kay” Furrow, Ronald Arnold and Joyce Martinez.

Betty is survived by her loving children, James Eline (Michele), Lisa Carson (Glenn), Bill Eline (Jenni) and Debbie Bise (Joe); adored grandchildren, Justin Carson, Tyler Carson (Sarah) and Ashton Weber (Will);  and cherished great-grandchildren, Brayden Carson, McKenzie Carson, soon to arrive Carson great-granddaughter, Lilli Autry and Liam Weber.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, on Thursday, March 19th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to immediately follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to the American Kidney Fund by visiting www.kidneyfund.org
