Bertha Knowles Obituary

On November 16, 2005, Bertha Elizabeth Knowles passed on. Bertha will be missed her family and friends. Bertha was predeceased by her loving husband of 23 years, Bragg Howell Easterlen. She is survived by her daughter, Priscilla Lowe; her son-in-law John Lowe; and her granddaughter Linda Lowe. Bertha was predeceased by her previous husband, Herbert Knowles; her sisters, Violet Blumer, Clara Kiefer and Isabelle Alperman; and her brothers, Oliver Hughes and Floyd Hughes. Bertha enjoyed her work. She was a clerk with Children's Fairyland Specialty Shop in Avon Park, Florida at one time. And also at the Vogue Dress Shop in Laurel, Maryland. She enjoyed her membership with the Presbyterian Women's Association. Bertha also had many hobbies which included sewing, cooking, reading, golf, square dancing and fishing. Bertha will be missed by many.
