Bert Behringer

December 19, 1928 ~ August 21, 2020 (age 91)


Bert Behringer, 91, a resident of Linthicum for 60 years, passed away on August 21, 2020. He was born in Baltimore to the late Karl and Theresa Behringer. He proudly served his country in the Army and retired from Westinghouse Electric Corporation after 29 years of service. Bert was a member of the Linthicum Good Timers Club and the American Society of Safety Engineers. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Marjorie “Marge” Behringer; son, Paul Behringer; and his siblings, Marie, Herman, Carl, George, Henry and August.

Bert is survived by his devoted sons, Bob Behringer and his wife, Terri Kellogg and Steve Behringer and his wife, Cheryl Scheffel-Behringer; loving daughter-in-law, Sue Behringer and her husband, Mike Thompson; cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Allison, Eric, David, Brent and Bryce; and dear brother, Alfred R. Behringer.

Due to Covid 19, services and interment will be private. You may join the service by Zoom on Saturday, Aug. 29th, at 5 PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
