Anne Szczesniak Obituary
Anne M. Szczesniak passed away at home on June 15, 2006 after a 4 month battle with lung cancer. She was a devoted wife to the late Alvin P. Szczesniak; loving mother to Joanne and her husband Pierce Leonberger, and Richard Szczesniak and his fiancee Jean Seger; Caring daughter of G.P. and Johan Buchan; loving sister of Catherine Brown, Christina Watson, Janet Buchan, and Iris Patalacci. She was also completely devoted to her 2 granddaughters, Valerie and Rachel Leonberger.
Anne was a teacher in both Scotland and South Carolina before becoming a Computer Operator for AAFES in 1986. She was also deeply committed to her main 'job'- a Professional U.S. Navy Master Chief's Wife.
She was a member of Girl Scouts of America and American Legion Ladies Auxilliary, and was a RABID Redskins fan.
