Angel Marie Sterling

Angel Marie Sterling, 28, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026.

Angel was a proud graduate of Glen Burnie High School, Class of 2019. She brought joy to those around her through her sweet spirit, unique personality, and the simple pleasures she cherished in life.

She especially loved spending time with her mother, (Ethel Pumphrey) and Pop-pop, (William Pumphrey, whether sharing special moments together or shopping at the mall. Angel enjoyed expressing her style by wearing sunglasses and bows in her hair, always adding a touch of brightness wherever she went.

A devoted television fan, Angel loved watching MeTV and could often be found enjoying classic shows such as Gunsmoke and The Andy Griffith Show. One of her favorite programs was Bluey, which never failed to make her smile.

Angel also had a special love for cats. While she adored them all, her beloved cats Phoebe and Toy held a particularly special place in her heart.  The cats brought her endless happiness, laughter, and companionship. Angel will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle heart, and the happiness she found in life's everyday moments.

Angel is survived by her devoted mother, Ethel Mae Pumphrey; dear sister, Gina Mae Sterling; loving uncles, James Sterling, Paul Sterling (Christina) and Brian Sterling. She will also be missed by her beloved cousins, Cooper Sterling, Conner Sterling, Parker Sterling, Hunter Sterling, Jennifer Sterling, Katie Serio and Sarah McCormick. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam Sterling and Kathleen Prangley; and her grandfather, William Pumphrey.

Family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, on Monday, June 8th, from 9 – 11 am. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
