Alvin Lyons, Sr

On April 19, 2006, Alvin Joseph Lyons, Sr. passed on. Alvin was preceeded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Gertrude M. Lyons. He is survived by his dear children, Alvin J. Lyons, Jr. and Ronnie Adlington, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Alvin was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He lived in Linthicum, Maryland for over 50 years. Alvin was a member of the United States Army from 1943 to 1945. He was then an electrician with Holler Electrical, in Washington, D.C., for 50 years. Alvin was a fun loving man. He enjoyed hanging out at "The Subway" and meeting with friends, who will miss him dearly.
