On February 11, 2006, Agnes E. Ashby of Glen Burnie passed away at the age of 85. The devoted wife of the late Edward Ashby; Beloved mother of Pamela Jeffra and Daniel, Edward and Douglas Ashby; Cherished grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of 18.
Agnes was an Air Raid Warden during WWII. She worked as a cashier for Murphy's and also for Rite Aid. She enjoyed watching sports, sewing, shopping, cooking and especially spending time with her family.
