Thomas Joshua “TJ” Ratajczak, of Baltimore, departed this world far too soon on November 16, 2025. Born in Glen Burnie, he is the cherished son of Kimberly M. Ratajczak and James D. Helmick Jr.
TJ demonstrated a profound love for animals, with a particular fondness for dogs and cats. His favorite superhero was Batman, a testament to his admiration for bravery, approaching each day with a fearless heart.
TJ is survived by his devoted mom, Kimberly M. Ratajczak, and dad, James D. Helmick Jr.; his late grandparents, Pauline and Frank Ratajczak; and his late great-grandmother, Johanna Schreuder. TJ will also be missed by his dear great-uncle, Ken Ratajczak, along with many other great-aunts and uncles; paternal grandparents, Linda and James Helmick Sr.; three sisters, one brother; nephew, Arloe; and his great-grandmother, Mee Mee.
As we gather to celebrate the life TJ lived, we invite family and friends to visit at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, Glen Burnie, on Saturday, November 22nd, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 5:00 PM. His inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
