Sandra Lynn Johns, affectionately known as Sandy, left this world on December 3, 2025, at the age of 64, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Born on January 15, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, Sandy’s warmth and bright spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. For many years, she dedicated her talents as a cook to several local restaurants, not only sharing her culinary skills but also her love for nurturing others through food. Her heart was always in the kitchen, where every recipe was infused with a dash of love and a sprinkle of joy.
Sandy cherished her time spent with family, which remained the focal point of her life. She particularly adored her grandchildren, Ethan, Nate, and Carleigh, whose laughter brought boundless joy to her days. As a devoted wife, mother, and sister, she created a legacy filled with love and unforgettable memories that her family will hold onto dearly.
She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Johns; her sons, Billy (Paula) Nemec Jr., Brian Johns, and Franky Johns; her brothers, Doug, Steve (Nancy), and Bruce Chapman; her sister, Marlene (Dave) Wellein; her father-in-law, Frank Johns Sr.; her sister-in-law, Lisa Johns; and her treasured 12 nieces and nephews, along with 22 great-nieces and nephews. Each of these relationships was a significant part of Sandy's life, grounding her in love and connection.
Though Sandy now joins her beloved daughter, Amy Lynn Johns, who preceded her in death, as well as her cherished parents, Norma and Donald Chapman, and brother, Donny Chapman, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Sandy's family invites all who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her life. Visitation services will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services P.A. in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on December 8, 2025. Visitations will take place, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Her legacy will continue, woven into the fabric of family gatherings, shared recipes, and the countless stories that will be passed down through the generations.
