Rosemary White

May 23, 1946 — October 5, 2023

Rosemary White (née Bowden), retired Salesperson and Caregiver, died on October 5th, 2023, at Autumn Hills in Glen Burnie.  She was 77 years old and had lived in Pasadena.

Rosemary was born on May 23rd, 1946, in Charleston, West Virginia.  Daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Bowden, she was the second youngest of five children with three older sisters, Nora, Shirley, and Alice, and one younger brother, Joseph Jr.  She grew up in West Virginia, and lived there until she joined the Army in September 1964.  It was in the Army where she met her future husband, Michael.  Rosemary was honorably discharged from the Army in February of 1966. Rosemary and Michael were married in October of 1965.  Together they had three children, Jane, Joseph, and James.

Rosemary was an incredible single mother of three working two and sometimes three jobs to support her kids the best way she knew how.  Her three children developed a tremendous work ethic inspired by their mother.  She excelled in Kitchen sales and later shared this field of work with her daughter Jane, who worked with her directly, this was something that made Rosemary very proud.  During her later working years, Rosemary was an in-home caregiver.  In her retirement, she developed an intense passion for Ancestry.com and shared thousands of pictures helping to create and connect one of the largest family trees on the site, known as Eden's Harvest.

Rosemary is survived by her son, James, his wife Caranthia, and their three children, Allyson, Jessica, and Christopher. Granddaughter Brittney, her husband Creighton, and their three children, Creighton, Samantha, and Cannon.  Grandson Timothy, wife Dawn Marie, their children Trenton, Charlotte, Vincent, and Vivienne. Son-in-law, Daniel Black, and his family.

Family and friends gathered for a private service in celebration of Rosemary's life at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., on October 28, 2023.  Her cremated remains are to be lovingly laid to rest by James and his family in Honolulu, Hawaii.
