Rosemary Elizabeth (Neiss) Carneal, 93, of Severn, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 14, 1932, in Girardville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Albert Francis Neiss and Mary Helen (Boxer) Neiss.
Rosemary dedicated 32 years of service as an administrative officer at the National Security Agency (NSA), where she was known for her professionalism and dedication.
A devoted fan of both the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, Rosemary rarely missed a game and cheered passionately for her teams throughout every season. A fan of theatre, she had season tickets to the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore City. Rosemary also loved reading, gardening, meeting friends for lunch, and playing video games on her iPad.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Krick Jr., and his wife, Elizabeth, of Linthicum, MD; her granddaughter, Heather Krick of Linthicum, MD; her grandson, Raymond Krick III, his wife, Liz, and their daughter, Anna, of Eldersburg, MD. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Krick, as well as her sister, Ellen and brother, Albert.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services in Glen Burnie, MD. A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. A graveside service will also follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary’s honor to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.
