Roger Walter Jacobs, Sr.

Roger Walter Jacobs, Sr. passed away on December 29, 2025, in Baltimore, MD, at the age of 79. Born in Baltimore on January 1, 1946 to the late John and Aldean Jacobs.

Roger was a beloved father to Roger W. Jacobs, Jr., and leaves behind a large extended family, including his brother, John Edward Jacobs, III, and sister, Jacqueline A. Knipple. He cherished his relationships with his nephew and nieces, James Edward Knipple (Stacy), Kimberly Foote (Jonathan) and, Jennifer Jacobs. Additionally, he is survived by many great nieces and nephews who adored him.

Throughout his life, Roger embraced his passions and enjoyed watching sports, which brought him joy and connected him with friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Aldean and John Jacobs, along with his siblings, Janet Lee Jacobs and Donald James Jacobs.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roger's life during a visitation on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services PA, located at 1 2nd Ave SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, January 8, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM, also held at the same location. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

His legacy will continue through the love of his family and friends, who will carry his memory forward.
