Carland Jr. and step-father of Samantha L. Hartman; Cherished brother of Ralph D. Carland; Loving grandfather of four. He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Dolores Carland and his former wife, Elizabeth A. Carland.

A dock worker for Preston Trucking for many years, Roger liked to build models and also enjoyed shooting pool.
