Raymond "Hoodie" Hood, Sr., 84, of Glen Burnie, passed away on September 4, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Hoodie was born in 1927 in Severn, MD. He worked as a supervisor for Anne Arundel County Public Works. Hoodie was a member of the American Legion #276. He was preceded in death by two sons, Marvin C. Hood, Sr. and Gordon Heinz. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vera Hood; daughter, Sharon Weckesser and husband Michael; son, Raymond Hood, Jr. and wife Margaret; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
