Phyllis Swain

August 16, 1923 — May 20, 2012

Phyllis G. Swain, of Glen Burnie passed away on May 20, 2012 at Morningside Assisted Living in Hanover, MD. Phyllis was born on Aug. 16, 1923 in Cumberland, MD. She retired from the Department of Motor Vehicles in 1979. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Joseph C. Swain, Jr. "Ike". She is survived by her four children, Linda Knickerbocker and her husband Gary, Jeff Swain and his wife Debra, Joe Swain and his wife Mina, Cheryl Wilson; her brother, Homer Lee Golden and his wife Marylee; her grandchildren, Wendy Mason, Bill Knickerbocker, Michelle Barth, Jennifer Magneiz, Brian and Anthony Swain, Joe, Allen and Christopher Wilson. Also survived by six great grandchildren.
