N. Darleen Phillips

Darleen Phillips, 75, of Glen Burnie, passed away on March 5, 2022. She was born in Baltimore to the late James and Nellie Newton. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Chuck” Sindall Jr.; and her brother, Gary Newton.

Darleen is survived by her loving daughter, Tammy Wheatley and her husband, Guy; cherished grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan; dear siblings, Randy Newton (Nancy) and Nancy Crites (Rick); and caring sister-in-law, Shawn Newton.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. S. W. (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, March 9th, from 11 AM – 1 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
