Mary G. Sheckels

Mary G. Sheckels, affectionately known as “Gerry”, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Baltimore, she was the loving daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Bianco) Erbe. Gerry is survived by her loving children, Mark (Sharon), Tracy, Tom (Dianna) and Robin (Sila); cherished grandchildren, Amber, Charles (Brooke), Maia (Anthony), Bryan (Kelsey), Kyle (Amanda), Rachael and Cameron; and her adored great-grandchildren, Adalynn, Bryson, Kendall, Everitt and Jayden. She will also be missed by her dear brother, John Padgett (Darlene), and their children, John and Lauren. 

In addition to her parents, Gerry was preceded in death by her husband, George, and son, Charles.

She will be interred privately at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
