Mary Smith

Mary Katherine Smith, 88 of Glen Burnie passed away on October 17, 2022. Mary was born on June 21, 1934 in Baltimore to the late Albert and Katherine Schuppel. She worked for CSX Railroad Corporation as a payroll specialist and human resources. She enjoyed reading, bowling, dancing, playing cards, knitting and crocheting.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Herbert Smith. She is survived by sons, Karl E. Smith (Karen) and Brian S. Smith; her grandson Ryan M. Smith (Hannah) and her great-granddaughter, Mildred Smith.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, November 3rd from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Philip Neri Church on Friday, November 4th at 12 Noon. Interment to follow at MD Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
