Martin Earl Orndorff "Marty"

     On Sunday, August 31, 2025 Martin “Marty” Earl Orndorff of Crownsville, MD passed away peacefully. The Beloved husband of Ruth A. Orndorff, loving father of Thomas F. Shaw, Jr. and his wife Tracy and Shermeen M. Collins and her husband Gary. Devoted grandfather of Sydney, Rylie, Trinity and Zachary. Brother of Barry and George Orndorff and Kendra Heart. He is also survived by his devoted companion “Sophie” and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Marty was preceded in death by his parents Natalie and George Orndorff, Jr.

     Marty has been a volunteer firefighter for over 53 years and most of it was serving at Station 6, Herald Harbor.

     Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm . A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at The Church at Severn Run, 8187 Telegraph Road, Severn, MD 21144 at 11:00 am. His Inurnment will be held at a later date privately.

     In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Herald Harbor Volunteer Fire Department, Station #6, Crownsville, MD.
