Marsha Urban

Marsha Ann Urban, 73, of Severna Park, passed away on August 25, 2022. She was born in Waterbury, CT to the late Joseph and Mary Zembruski. She graduated from the College of William and Mary, receiving her Master’s degree in Special Education. She retired from Indian Creek School after 30 years of service. After retirement, she went on to work for Arundel House of Hope where she was a true asset and integral part of the organization. Marsha was an active member of Rejoice Fellowship Church and SSS Ski Club, where she enjoyed running the annual crab feast. Besides skiing, she also enjoyed gardening, cooking and making gift baskets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jim Urban.

Marsha is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Patrick M. Urban; her cherished friend, Charlotte Gibboney and her husband, Tom; and their loving children and grandchildren, Amanda Phelps (Dustin), Matthew Gibboney (Annemarie), Erik, Ben, Andrew and Katherine.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road, Linthicum, MD 21090 on Saturday, October 1st at 11 AM.
