Mark Mchugh

On Friday, February 24, 2023, Mark Anthony McHugh of Gambrills, MD passed away. Husband of the late Barbara A. McHugh (nee Zeun); Father of Janet M. Kokosinski and her husband Jacob; Pop-Pop of Julia and Jacob Kokosinski; Brother of Diane Borkmann, Ruth Wilcox, Joyce Stinchcomb, Donnie, Fred, Tim and Gary McHugh and the late Janet Goldsmith and Joseph McHugh.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; Ruth and Paul McHugh and his devoted companion “Cricket”.
Mark proudly served his country in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. During Marks' working years he was proud of being a Union Iron Worker of Local 16 and a truck driver for Penske. In the past when he was able to get out and do things he very much enjoyed gardening, fishing, crabbing, horseback riding and hunting. And most of all he loved playing cards with his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW, (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 7436 Baltimore & Annapolis Blvd., Glen Burnie, MD 21061 at 11:30 am. Graveside Service and Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.  PLEASE, IF YOU DO WISH TO SEND FLOWERS, HAVE YOUR FLORIST ARRANGE THEM PET FRIENDLY.
