Margaret L. Cremen, 90, lovingly known as Peggy, was born on May 30, 1935, in Baltimore, MD. She passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, in Severna Park, MD, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Peggy was a proud graduate of Western High School. She devoted over 30 years of her life to her career as a salesperson at Sears Department Store, where her warm demeanor and exceptional service left a lasting impression on many.
Peggy was known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She cherished the times spent at Patterson Park, enjoying lively gatherings with the other wives from her husband’s softball team. Country line dancing was one of her favorite pastimes, and she never missed an opportunity to watch her beloved Ravens, Orioles, and Capitals in action. Peggy also found joy at the shore, where memories were made, and laughter echoed. Her enthusiasm for family was evident as she eagerly attended her grandsons’ hockey games, cheering them on with pride.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Guy W. Cremen; their children, Terry Kelley, Linda Cremen, and Gary Cremen (Nanci) and daughter-in-law, Patrice; and her cherished grandchildren, Joey Cremen (Alexis), Matthew Cremen, Scott Cremen, Gary Beier (Kristyna) and Zach Naquin. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Josephine Cremen, Alexandra Cremen, Max Beier, Zoe Beier, and Blair Beier; and her dear sister, Gerry Staab, who will carry fond memories of their time together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Meyers, and her son-in-law, Ron Kelley.
Peggy’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched.
