Mae Brooks

Mae Brooks, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28th. Mae was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 15th 1925 to the late Charles and May Buellis. In 1946 Mae married the late George Warren Brooks, Jr., they were married for 71 years. Mae stayed home to raise her children. She was a member of Andover Baptist Church, and was known for her love of collecting antiques. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mae is predeceased by her loving husband, George Warren Brooks, Jr. and her daughter, Terri Ann Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Berry (Larry) and her son, Mark Brooks (Gayle), along with 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Thursday, February 4th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A celebration of life will be held at Andover Baptist Church, located at 1009 Andover Road in Linthicum, Maryland 21090 on Friday, February 5th at 10:30AM. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge, Maryland. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors. We ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to get into the funeral home.
