Lyndon Virgin

January 29, 1915 — September 24, 2005

Lyndon Lee Virgin, 90, of Glen Burnie, passed away on Saturday, September 24th. He was the husband of the late Minnie D. Virgin (nee Eschenbach). Lyndon was preceded in death by his son, Lyndon Lee Virgin, Jr.
Lyndon is survived by his daughter, Linda May Virgin of Glen Burnie, his daughter and son-in-law, Carol E. Linkous & John M. Linkous, Jr. of James Creek, Pennsylvania, and his grandson, John Lee Linkous of Owings Mills.
Lyndon retired after 40 years from Bethlehem Steel, where he was employed as a shipfitter.
Lyndon served in the United States Army in World War II as a rifleman & lineman. He served in Naples, Rome, Southern France, the Rhineland, and Central Europe. He received the American Theater Service Ribbon, WWII Victory Ribbon, Purple Heart, Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Croix deGuerre with Palm, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Ribbon, and good conduct medal.
Lyndon was an Oriole fan and enjoyed tinkering around the house.
