Loyd Frances Haywood, born on August 20, 1931, in Vienna, Illinois to the late Lloyd Franklin and Mildred Hess Veach, peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026. She was a trusted office manager for several prominent physicians over many years and served as secretary for the Baltimore School of the Bible for a time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, John Joseph Haywood Sr.; loving daughter, Rebecca Weber; beloved grandson, Benjamin Haywood and her dear sister, Lora Jo Rude.

Frances is survived by her loving children, Pamela Schneider and her husband, Robert, John J. Haywood Jr. and his wife, Joan, Joanna Weitershausen and her husband, Robert, Elaina McNeill and her husband, James.
