Lois "Lo Lo" J. Bloodsworth

          On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Lois “LoLo” Joan Bloodsworth of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully.  The beloved wife of the late James A. Bloodsworth; loving mother of Rose M. Flynn, Heidi Marsiglia and the late Darrell J. Bloodsworth; and devoted grandmother of Sheila F. Murray and her husband, Matthew.  She is also survived by her cherished great-grandchildren, Teddy and Abraham Murray. “Lo Lo” was also preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Hazel Lambdin; and her siblings, Warren Lambdin, Marlene Hare and Phyllis Murphy.

     Lois spent her life in the company of others and deeply enjoyed going out with friends, throwing her annual end-of-summer party, and attending her high school reunions.  Whether she was bowling, teaching her granddaughter how to play poker and bingo, or watching the Orioles from section 354 at every Sunday home game, Lois was outgoing and engaging.  A consummate host, Lois welcomed people from all walks of life and took great joy having friends and family in her home.  In turn, Lois was known and loved by many and left a lasting impact on all who knew her; she will be greatly missed. 

          Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue, S.W.,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061, on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 10:00 am till the start of the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 11:00 am.  Her Inurnment will be held at a later date privately.  In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to your favorite local animal organization.
