On October 16, 2013 LaVerne E. Meyers, 76, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore, MD on September 6, 1937 to the late Mary and Thomas Wade, Sr. LaVerne is survived by one son, Gilbert William Meyers, Jr. and wife Cheryl; two grandchildren, Tracy Houghton and husband Scott and Gilbert William Meyers, III and wife Sheri; and five great-grandchildren, Steven, Emilee, Aaron, Abbey and Sabrina. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert W. Meyers, Sr.
