Larry Dennis Barath

          On Sunday, August 4, 2024, Larry Dennis Barath of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. The beloved husband of 48 years to Barbara L. Barath; father of Larry D. Barath, II (Morgen) and Christina Marsh and her husband, Michael; devoted grandfather of Brandon, Ashley, Michael, Brett, Katlyn, Haley, Tyler and Jamison; brother of Diane L. Blubaugh and her husband, Bernie. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and other loving family members and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Jeannette and Ernest Barath.

Larry was a very talented person. He excelled in tap dancing as a child and football and baseball growing up. He also played softball in the later years. Larry was a career electrician both with the Amtrak and IBEW Local #24. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built during his time there. Larry was also a avid Orioles and Ravens Fan and enjoyed watching the games as much as he could. He also loved fishing and spending time on the water with his family. 

His Services and Inurnment will be held on Sept 28th at 12:00 Noon, with a gathering prior from 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Please check this website periodically for any updates. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Hospice of the Chesapeake.
