June Booker

June Bernice Booker, 89, of Baltimore and previously of Glen Burnie, passed away on January 28, 2021. June was born in 1931, to the late Elizabeth and Otto Macha in Bloomfield, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Southern High School. June worked numerous jobs, but her favorite was working administrative at BWMC formally known as North Arundel Hospital. June had a passion for music and loved singing. She was a member of the Little Old Ladies of Pasadena, Diamonds & Denim, and the Barbershop Quartet. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Booker, Sr. She is survived by three children, John L. Booker, Jr. and his wife Claudia; Sandra June Magistrelli and her husband Mark, and Paula Bernice Booker; and three grandchildren, Troy, Miranda, and Zachary.

The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy.) Glen Burnie on Friday, February 5th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Heartfelt Home care of Rhonda Davis, 513 Dogwood Drive, Glen Burnie, MD. 21061.
