Joseph Peter Staiger, Jr.

Joseph P. Staiger, Jr. 80, of Glen Burnie passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

He was born May 15, 1942, in Baltimore to Joseph and Ruth (Church) Staiger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth and his sisters, Jackie and JoAnn.

He is survived by his wife, Jane (Fultz) Staiger, his children, Joanne Staiger, Janice (Mark) Rosenbach, Joseph Staiger, Jeannie (Ariel) Jackson, grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Sophia, Olivia, and great-grandchild, Meadow.

Joseph worked for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab before retiring in 2001.

Joseph loved his family. He enjoyed sports, especially cheering on his hometown Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and the Baltimore Colts. He also enjoyed reading and spending quiet time on the deck and the pier of his waterfront home.

Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
