Jong Gab Shon

Jong Gab Shon “Bruce”, 57, of Windsor Mill, passed away on April 17, 2022. He was born in Seoul, Korea to the late Soo Duk Shon and Young Joo Kim. He enjoyed playing golf, reading and singing karaoke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Bong Sun and Cha Gab.

Jong is survived by his beloved wife, Kyung S. Han (nee Moon); loving children and step-children, Boo Gu Shon, Hyun Ah Shon, Min Jee Shon, Ki Hyun Han (Mikki), Mi Hyun Smith (Kevin), Ji Hyun Dunlap (Brian) and Dae Hyun Han (Amanda); cherished grandchildren, Emanuel, Joshua, Michael, April, Aaron and Adley; and dear siblings, Bok Sun, Pan Gab, Bok Ja, Mi Sun and Mi Ja.

A memorial service will be held at Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church, 3165 St. Johns Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21042 on Thursday, April 21st, at 6:30 PM.
