John Royer

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, John Howard Royer of Crownsville, MD passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Cheryl D. “Sherrie” Royer, loving father of Jon K. Royer, Michael J. Royer and his wife Kimberlee and Erin L. Zimmerman and her husband Paul. Grandfather of Haley, Ashley, Megan, Gavin, Trinity, Kelly, Emily, Zack, Bailey, John, Luke, Carly, Samuel, Lindsey and Paul, Jr.; Great grandfather of Damian and Onyx. He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Barbara Royer and his grandsons, Tyler and Coult.

Mr. Royer served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1969 thru 1976 as a Vietnam Veteran and he will received Military Honors during his celebration of Life Memorial Service.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 am till the start of the Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 10:00 am. Inurnment will be held at a late date privately. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
