John Ringelman

November 29, 1926 — December 23, 2011

On December 23, 2011, JOHN FRED RINGELMAN of Millersville; cherished husband of 57 years to Patricia L. Ringelman.; beloved father of Paul Ringelman, M.D. & his wife Elizabeth, and John Mark Ringelman; loving grandfather of John Alec, Grant, and Nina Ringelman; dear uncle of Jill Christopher. He was born in Geary, Oklahoma on November 29, 1926. John attended the University of Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor's in Electrical and Physics engineering. He served in the United Staes Navy from February 1945 - August 1946. John had a successful career at Westinghouse, Aerospace Division, where he was awarded many patents in the field of electrical engineering; he also co-authored a book in his field. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, history and traveling.
