John Parks

On June 2, 2009, JOHN C. "Charlie" PARKS passed away at the age of 80, after a prolonged battle with congestive heart failure. Charlie was born in 1929 on the Hilltop Orchard Family Farm in Cockeysville, Maryland to the late John and Julia Parks. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Charlie was a mechanic by trade, and had worked for the Federal Government and Black & Decker. He loved to work on cars and lawn mowers. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Agnes W. Parks (nee McCaffrey); devoted father of Donna Regan and her husband Eric and Debbie Meeker; loving grandfather to Donald Thompson, Jr., Kelly Sigethy, Christopher Thompson, Heather Meeker, Patrick Thompson, Allison Meeker, Sarah-Elizabeth Brantley, Benjamin Jones and Rebecca Regan. Dear brother of Will, Ernest, Mike, George Francis and Richard Parks; he is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
