John Louis Kennell, born on August 13, 1970, in Missoula, Montana, passed away on November 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved son of the late Janet Louise and Richard Arthur Kennell Sr.He attended Penn State College, where he not only cultivated knowledge but also formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. His career took him to Stillman Volvo, where he worked for many years and became a valued member of the sales team. An animal lover at heart, John had a special affinity for dogs, embracing the joy they brought into his life. His commitment to fostering animals showcased his compassionate nature and his willingness to make a difference in the lives of those who could not speak for themselves. John was also known for his spirited enthusiasm for sports. His fierce loyalty to Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles was well-known among his friends and family, and he enjoyed sharing these passions with those around him. In his later years, John lived a fulfilling life alongside his devoted dog, Smiley, who provided him with unwavering loyalty and affection.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving sister, Karen E. Stillman. John is survived by his loving siblings, Katherine M. Cameron (Tim), Kristina K. Haley (Jim), Shirley A. Koster (Craig) and Richard A. Kennell Jr. (Sherry). He will also be missed by many cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. John will also be missed by his many friends who spoke of him as the most generous, kindest and funniest person they knew.
