Joan M. Vecchioni, 81, of Glen Burnie passed away on June 8, 2014. Joan was born in 1933 in Baltimore, MD. She worked at the Sears & Roebuck Company in Glen Burnie as a cashier. Joan was a member of the National Guard's 29th Division Auxiliary and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crossword puzzles, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Vecchioni. She is survived by five children, Sharon Mietzner and her husband Edward, Michael Vecchioni and his wife Alice, Connie Vecchioni, Kathy Vecchioni, and Donald Vecchioni and his wife Kathy; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey and Tony Mietzner, Emily Vecchioni, Meaghan DeBlouw, Matthew, Alex and Claire Vecchioni; and four great-grandchildren.
