Jeffrey Raymond Pevo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Raymond Pevo, “Jeff” who departed this world on December 14, 2025. Jeff proudly served as a Police Officer and QRT Member for Anne Arundel County, achieving the distinguished rank of Corporal. His dedication to protecting and serving his community was further underscored by his work with the U.S. Secret Service, where he exemplified duty and integrity.

Jeff’s warmth and generosity extended far beyond his professional life. He had a zest for life that resonated with everyone around him. As a valued member of the Ferndale Community Club and The Elks Lodge, he cherished the connections he forged within these circles. A true family man at heart, Jeff found immense joy in hosting and attending family gatherings. His laughter echoed through every home as he charmed his loved ones, often while savoring a feast of crabs or sharing stories of adventure spent outdoors or by the beach.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Janice L. Pevo, who stood by his side for over 38 years of marriage. Their love story exemplified partnership, commitment and true love for life and each other from the beginning. Jeff is also survived by his brother, Andrew Pevo, and sister, Marylynn Gran, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews whose lives he touched with his kindness.Jeff’s legacy will continue to live on in the cherished memories created with his family and friends. He joins in eternal rest his parents, Barbara and Robert Pevo and his sister, Lisa Burck, who all welcomed him with open arms and loving hearts.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeffrey's life at a Memorial Gathering on January 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and again from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services P.A., located in Glen Burnie, Maryland. A Memorial Service will be held the following day, January 10, 2026, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel.

In these moments of grief, let us remember Jeff not only for the role he played in his career, but for the remarkable man he was—a man who loved deeply and lived fully. His spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.
