J aney Lavinia “Lou” Bohle, 96 of Glen Burnie, passed away on December 13, 2020. Lou was born on February 29, 1924 in Elvaton, Maryland to the late John C. and Mary E. Wood. She grew up on a farm in Elvaton and spent her entire life in Anne Arundel County. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 70 years, Cyril “Butch” Bohle; her daughter, Lynda B. Taylor; her son-in-law, A. Wade Taylor, Jr. and her ten brothers and sisters. Lou is survived by devoted granddaughter, Brandi K. Dyer; one child; and three additional grandchildren, Angelica Raborg, April Rickard (Jason) and Christopher Bohle (Courtney). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Lou was a proud homemaker and loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family. She also made going to church an import part of her life and attended every week. Lou also enjoyed country music and knitting.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Sunday, December 20th from 3-7 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21st at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are only allowing 40 people inside the funeral home at one time and requiring masks for all visitors. We kindly ask that you please keep your visit brief, as there may be people waiting to get into the funeral home.
