Janet D. Burkman

Janet Drucella Burkman of Bradenton, FL died at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 14, 2024, at age 80. With her family at her bedside, Janet joined her Creator God and all the saints in light after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William Burkman, her beloved son Roy Hoke, her grandsons Kingston, Bronson, Preston, and Holden, and her brother Richard Boswell of Taylorsville, Md.

Janet was born October 23,1943 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of Herbert Louis and Elizabeth Leese Boswell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Herbert Louis Boswell, and her sister Annie Elizabeth Good.
