James Sisk

November 15, 1927 — July 18, 2005

James Andrew Sisk was a devoted, loving husband to Betty Jo Sisk for 55 years. He is survived by two loving daughters, Deborah Lee Miller of Millersville and Donna Kaye Smith of Odenton. He was a dear father-in-law to Daniel Gilbert Miller, caring grandfather to Laura and Jennifer Miller, a dear uncle to Linda Dodson Cook and a close brother-in-law to Peggy Anne Dodson - all of whom participated in his most recent care. He is also survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Frances Pullen, and Marianna Wharton, all of Virginia; and one brother, Charles Henry Sisk of Hawaii. Jim is also survived by many other loving family members and friends.

A resident of Glen Burnie for 38 years, Jim was born in Nethers, Virginia on November 15, 1927. He worked at B&O Railroad, Proctor Silex and Ecko-Glaco before he retired. He served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army with the occupation forces in Japan proceeding World War II. Jim enjoyed woodworking, building birdhouses, watching baseball, painting, loved chocolate, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.
