James Corsi, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio, one of nine children, to the late Pasquale and Flora Corsi. Jim dedicated a significant part of his professional life to working as a safety manager for Millennium Inorganic Chemicals, a role he held with pride until his retirement after many devoted years. In his personal life, James found joy in the simple pleasures: He was an avid gardener and took great pride in the fruits of his labor. Cooking was another passion; his culinary skills enriched the lives of those around him. A proud grandfather, Jim cherished attending his grandson's baseball games, always cheering loudly. Additionally, he was a passionate sports fan, cheering vigorously for his favorite teams: Ohio State football and the Baltimore Ravens.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his five siblings, Joseph Corsi, Patrick Corsi, Victor Corsi, Phillip Corsi and Mary Cowser. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, JoAnn Corsi (nee Pusateri); loving children, Kristin Corsi (Bill Billings) and Mark Corsi (Bonnie); and his cherished grandsons, Greg and Dominic Corsi. He will also be missed by his dear sisters, Edith Rice and Antoinette Gibbons (Joe); and his caring sister-in-law, Rose Corsi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th, at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services P.A. in Glen Burnie, from 4 – 7 PM. A funeral service to honor Jim will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, 1 PM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
