Howard Dicus, Sr.

Howard M. Dicus, Sr., 102 years old, passed away on May 19, 2021. Howard was born on March 31, 1919 in Relay, MD. He served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant during WWII. He worked for Domino Sugar and Kaiser Aluminum and was a safety consultant for MOSH. He had many interests which included music, art, reading, writing and sailing. Howard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, L. Virginia Dicus. He is survived by his devoted children, Howard Dicus, Jr. (Bernadette), Martha Operchuck (Andrew), Diane Sepe (Gene), David Dicus, Laura Thacker (Stephen) and Hazel Dicus; his loving grandchildren, Sean, Leina’ala, Marie, Luc, Sam and Alina; and his dear great-grandson, Max.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Wednesday, May 26th from 11-1 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Mem. Park.
