Frank Jacobs, Jr.

On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Frank Richard “Dick” Jacobs, Jr. of Glen Burnie, MD passed away after a lengthy illness.  He was at home with his wife and daughters by his side. Beloved husband of Janine S. Jacobs, loving father of Diana L. Jacobs, Dawn L. Kelly and Donovan W. O’Neil and his wife Jackie. Grandfather of Helena, Kristen, Matthew, Joshua, Michael, Sherrard, Avery, Savanna,  Sophia, Jaden, Kylie, Khloe and Maverick. Dear Brother of Eileen Rybczyk (Al), Faye Gruber, Kenneth Jacobs (Kathleen), Sue Poupalous (Jim) and the late June Gruber. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Through the years, Dick enjoyed taking the auto train to Florida with his wife, Janine.  He loved the Ocean, hot weather and sunshine.  Dick and Janine were married on the Beach at Canaveral National Seashore in Florida.  His passion was collecting and working on muscle cars.  He enjoyed going to the races and loved watching Nascar.

In his younger days, he loved playing cards and darts with his life-long buddies over a beer.

Dick retired from Tate Andale where he was a machinist for 40+ years, and he could make and fix almost anything. After retiring, he enjoyed working around the house, tinkering in his garage, relaxing in the pool, and taking naps with his beloved cats.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA., 1 Second Avenue, SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Also at Singletons, A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 11:00 am. A private Inurnment for the family of Mr. Jacobs will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD on Friday, July 22 at 11:00 a.m.  Mr. Jacobs will receive Military Honors. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to any Cat or Kitten Rescue Organization of your choice.
